Pass Plus Driving Course

0

You have passed both the theoretical and practical driving tests with Bill Plant and you are on your own and ready for the road, or are you? We are well aware that it to become a skilled driver does not happen over night, it can take years of driving in differing conditions, but taking the pass plus course helps get you there by speeding up the learning process under expert tuition.

Although not an advanced driving course, pass plus will help boost your awareness of all kinds of hazards and help you learn how to anticipate, plan for and deal with them safely. After completing your pass plus course you can get substantial discounts on your insurance premium, often more than the cost of the course! When taking the pass plus course you will be continually assessed during a series of modules which you must complete successfully, there is no test! These modules cover: town driving, all weather driving, night driving, dual carriageways, and motorways amongst many. Why not become a better driver and reduce your insurance at the same time?

Car Breakdown Services

It can happen to you, it certainly will affect most of us at least once during the time we drive a motor vehicle, the dreaded breakdown of our motor vehicle, or being involved in an incident of one sort or another.

What to do if your vehicle breaks down is firstly to think of all other road users and where possible get your vehicle off the road. Take precautions by warning other road users by switching on your hazard warning lights and if you have a reflective jacket (standard in some European countries) put this on. Most new cars have a warning triangle supplied with them and this should be placed at a minimum of 45 metres behind your vehicle. If the visibility is poor or it is dark your side lights should be left on and you should never stand between your vehicle and the oncoming traffic.

Breakdowns on the motorway present an entirely different set of situations and before anyone ventures on to one of our motorways for the first time they should read the comprehensive advice given under sections 247 to 287 available on the Online Bill Plant Highway Code pages.
