Safe Driving Education

In your series of driving lessons you will be taught safe driving and the importance of observation and consideration to other road users. At Bill Plant we do not want you to become one of the thousands of people who are involved in a road accident, we want you to drive safely, economically and enjoy the use of your motor vehicle.

Figures going back to 2003 show that 3,508 people were either killed or injured in road accidents, this in spite of government and road safety organisations promoting road safety. There is no one factor why a road accident occurs, or when someone is killed or injured, these can include speeding, dangerous driving, negligence, talking on a mobile ‘phone, lack of use of safety belts amongst many. Whatever the reason, accidents do not just happen, they are caused. We know that it is possible to reduce the possibility of becoming one of the statistics by driving in accordance with the standards set out by the advanced driving test, reduce fuel cost and wear and tear on your vehicle.
